My back and forward buttons on my Logitech MX1000 Lazer Mouse will not work in Avant Browser, Please Help!
Here is how to fix the issue..
To resolve the issue, please try setting the forward and back button of Logitech MX1000 mouse to generic mouse button.
To do this, please refer the following steps:
1) Go to Start | All Programs | Logitech | Mice and Keyboard | SetPoint, select My Mouse tab.
2) Under this tab select the mouse.
3) Highlight the buttons that are not working.
4) Select the option others, under select task.
5) Click the button Select Function.
6) From the drop down list select Generic Button.
This should resolve your issue. However, if the issue persists, please try assigning "Alt+Left arrow" to the back button and "Alt+right arrow" to the forward button of the mouse using the keystroke assignment feature of the SetPoint software.
To assign this keystroke to your mouse:
1) Open the Mouse Properties by double clicking on the SetPoint icon in the SysTray
or Start | All Programs | Logitech | Mice and keyboard | SetPoint.
2) Then click the Mouse tab. Select the Mouse, then select button you want to assign a function, then in the select task option select keystroke function from the list.
3) Click on the box under keystroke assignment and press "Alt+Left arrow" for the back button and "Alt+right arrow" for the forward button .
4) Click OK to save the assignments.
