Promotion Help

Is there a how-to on how I should promote a new site?
I would prefer it to be free :) Don't have a lot of dollars to spend on getting it up though.

dude... nothing is going to be free and good at the same time.
Spend some money and buy some slots on PPCs or maybe even a few text links on some sites that sell these and you could see better or faster results...
